Scholarship and Award Application Requirements
Complete the Application Form (download from the above button): Eligibility is restricted to legal Colorado residents who will be graduating from high school in the Spring of 2023. Indicate your desire for the award/grant/scholarship and your intentions to enter the Colorado workforce, attend a trade school or community college, become an entrepreneur, or join the military.

Additional items you must submit are below. Please complete and acquire all supporting materials and create a single ZIP file to attach to your submission email. Put your name in the ZIP file name. Send the ZIP file attachment to our email address via the button at the bottom of this section.
- Submit a Statement of Position: Compose a 300 to 500-word Statement of Position regarding one of the Future Freedom Foundation Guiding Principles. Describe your perspective and how that relates to the position of the Founding Fathers and the culture of today.

- Support of Free Market Economics, Capitalism, and American Exceptionalism
- A belief that the Constitution, as our founding document, was written as a covenant, and not as a flexible document, and that the Amendments are intended to protect our freedoms (speech, property, religion, arms)
- A belief in limited government, of the people, by the people, and for the people
- An understanding and appreciation of an In God We Trust attitude, and a belief that the people, not the government are the best stewards of our country's God-given resources
- A belief in opportunity for all, individual responsibility, and opposition to collectivism
- Support of Free Market Economics, Capitalism, and American Exceptionalism
- Guiding Principles
- Submit a Letter of Achievement: Compose a 300 – 500 word Letter of Achievement that describes how you have personally demonstrated one or more of the Future Freedom Foundation Character Qualities defined below.
- An appreciation for love of country, faith, family, freedom, and free market capitalism
- A commitment of service to community, hard work, perseverance, and overcoming difficulties and adversity
- Submit Transcripts: Have your academic institution send an official Academic Transcript via email (use the button below to get the email address), or via normal USPS to the address at the bottom of this page.
NOTE: This is not an academic scholarship. However, transcripts are necessary to verify eligibility of graduation and the commitment of the applicant. - Letters of Recommendation: Letters of Recommendations shall be completed by two separate individuals. One must be from a teacher, coach, principal, counselor, or educator (other than a family member), and one must be from a member of the community
- Submitting Application and Supporting Materials: Applications shall be submitted by midnight, Friday, April 28, 2023. If submitting multiple documents via email, such as the letters of recommendation with your application, please combine them into a single ZIP file to attach to the email. Put your name in the ZIP file name.
Criteria for Awards
Criteria for awards will be based on meeting the eligibility requirements, the quality and strength of the Statement of Position, significance of the Letter of Achievement, quality of the Letters of Recommendation, commitment to the principles described above, and the interview score. Finalists will be contacted for an interview. Interviews will be completed in April with selection notification around mid-June.
